It wasn’t until I had kids that I even questioned what was in the food I bought or in the products I used. The change started when I bought the cookbook Nourishing Traditions. I began making my own baby food to ensure my little ones were eating the very best. Before we knew it, we had a small farm in the Appalachian foothills of Ohio, so we could grow and raise as much of our own food as possible.
One spring, we agreed to goat-sit for friends leaving for vacation. I had a quick crash course in milking our 4 temporary visitors and soon had more goat milk than I knew what to do with. A quick internet search brought up a goat milk soap recipe. It turned out great! I was hooked.
Nothing has changed from that initial desire to provide the best for my family. I have learned how to make a variety of natural skin care products for them. Now you can enjoy the same products my family and friends have been using for years. Enjoy!
